H Janice. Thanks for letting me know that Goobert isn’t available now as a stand-alone product. I removed one of the links and added a link to the Google Alerts service.

Links are the vital ingredient for getting traffic, and adding comments to blogs is the best way to get your links. For instance, let’s pretend that you have a website that sells houseplants. When you comment on a blog (adding real content or asking a real question, like the one you wrote above) you would put in the name box “Janice, the houseplant lady” or something similar. Nothing spammy, just a way to identify yourself with your product. Then you would add your complete URL in the website box. Write your comment and hit submit. If your comment is approved, you’ll get an instant link. If you write “nice post” or something else that makes your comment useless to other readers, you’re comment will probably be rejected as spam.

Hi Jonni,

When I tried the Goobert links above, none of them work. When I did finally find the Goobert site, there was a message that Goobert is no longer available to the public and has been moved to the Vault, a collection of Michael Campbell’s work that is much more expensive than the Goobert report was. I was wondering if you had any recomendation on this?
