We received two new items to add to our list of practical paper mache projects, and these two are truly unique.
Chris Josephs sent in a wonderfully whimsical paper mache egg cup, with a nice round belly and little feet. I can guarantee you’ve never seen an egg cup like it.
Jelina sent in a photo of a fantasy animal made out of the parts of many different critters. And yes, it’s “practical” — she embedded waterproof tubes in the creature’s back, so it can function as a flower vase. I can’t believe this is her very first paper mache project.
Tomorrow I hope to be adding another project from Deyana – she previously submitted the child-sized paper mache boat. Since then, they’ve made a puppet theater, a play horse, and other items for her son’s school. Please check back tomorrow to see if the latest items have been added to the Practical Paper Mache Project page. (Scroll down to the bottom of that page to see all the latest submissions, and follow the links to the separate pages.)

Never mind.
Jonni could you wait to post the book because I have one more item that I want to post. It will be done by tomorrow.
Thanks
Monica
